5C-Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003)

Operation Iraqi Freedom was launched to end ongoing hostilities with Iraq, as Saddam Hussein's regime persisted in its policies of oppression toward the Kurdish and Shi'ite populations and continued its pursuit of weapons of mass destruction, including chemical agents. This collection showcases US and Allied aircraft that made their combat debut in Operation Iraqi Freedom and were prepared by testing and training received on the US Western Test Ranges.
