I'm 53 and spend my summers drag racing but needed a hobby for the off season. So just getting into WW II modeling. Was a serious model railroader for nearly 20 years but due to moving several times for work I had to give it up. Thought since I've had a long time interest in WW II and have well developed modeling skills from my Model RR days... 1/35 scale armor would be a perfect hobby for me.

Just finished setting up my work area. Buying some kits and supplies to get started. I have my first modeling project on the bench for the first time in over 20 years. It feels good getting back into the hobby.

Looking forward to meeting some new friends, getting some ideas and advice and just seeing what is going on in the industry on the site.
