A wanna-be modeler taking his first steps into the world of model making. I have a special interest in aircraft and armoured vehicles from the 2nd world war. Ilso love 'luftwaffe 1946' project that never got much further than the drawing board.

I have always had an interest in modeling but never really got around to it. However, this hobby has evolved so much in recent years, at least as I see it, that I finally took the plunge.
So I am at the beginning of a learning curve and have resolved to become proficient in the basic techniques needed to deliver a decent model. I'll give myself time for this because, above all, it has to remain fun. Besides that I can also enjoy the often excellent work of other modellers. Scalemates seems to me the ideal place to do this.
