I picked this kit up at Ollie's for $12.99 USD This is my first ever Polar Lights kit, and my first Funny car since I started building again after a 35 year Hiatus. This kit builds up into a pretty decent replica, but it is a LOT of work. Also, I have to say these are the worst instructions I have ever had to follow. The pictures are basically exploded views, very vague directions on where parts belong. Also, the decals were not very good. This was sold as a Hot Wheels issue, but except for the grille and rear lights I didn't use any of the kit decals. They seemed to be very thick and even with a ton of Micro Sol and Micro Set would not lay down. As much of a pain in the patootie this was, I'm very happy with the finished product. In addition to what came in the box, I added: valve stems, brake lines and hoses, plug wires, fuel line plumbing, oil filter plumbing, injector lines, drag chute line, and blower hat linkage. Oh, and I wired the gauges. I drilled out the headers, and did a bunch of detail painting. Body paint is Tamiya TS-52 Candy Lime green under TS-13 clear. The decals came from various other kits.
