Ford Focus RS WRC 2010

Have a bit of break, I found this kit on eBay. I had been tempted for a while but the scheme always put me off. Managed to get it for reasonable price on eBay and took the plunge. First problem was the paint, the aerosols are hard the find and coupled with the UK Post Office restrictions now on aerosols, near impossible to get shipped in. After a lot of research (and the missus to agree to the financial outlay), I bit the bullet and purchased an airbrush. Managed to get the paints from Hiroboy in the UK and this is the end effect.

Kit has a few problems and my aim of putting the decals on first and then overspraying with Tamiya Clear didn't quite work out. Some of the decals (Cartograph) dissolved and some of the fits were a little out. Still, reasonably happy with the end result and now I've get an airbrush to get used to!!
