Just retired and getting back into making plastic kits again after a VERY long period of 'Modellers block'! It is a life saver! It's so relaxing to sit there and plod away on a model. I tend to make smaller aircraft in 1/72nd scale, and the larger ones in 1/144th scale. I also have a couple of my favourite cars to build in 1/24th and 1/25th scale. I was an aircraft engineer (avionics) for over 40 years, working on a large variety of types who's timespan was from the early 1950's to the newest Airbus products.
