In May 2004 the NAS Oceana-based Fighter Squadron One Zero One (VF-101) conducted carrier qualifications aboard Enterprise in the Atlantic Ocean. This was the last time F-14s conducted operations from the flight deck aboard USS Enterprise.

Jan TichýHi, have you started this project? I am about to buy this kit also and I am now looking for some brass - you seem to be fitting brass for Hasegawa to this - how is it going?

Olivier AutorHi, it's not started yet. There is no PE available for Hobby Boss F-14D hence I ordered the Hasegawa one some time ago. Today, You also have eduard PE for Tamiya and CMK F-14D available.

Jan TichýI was wondering how it really fits, I just watched an on-line videobuild on YouTube and the guy stated in the inbox review that it is really close looking to Hasegawa, I got the impression that the Chinese engineering got really "inspired" by the Hasegawa tooling, thus the set fitting rather well. I think I´ll try that.
