Greetings All! I am Jim Sloan and I live on Saint Simons Island, GA. That's about 80 miles south of Savannah, GA. I have been modeling since the 1970s. Main interest is whatever I happen to be reading about at the time. Mostly build WWII to the recent unpleasantness of the Iraq/Afghanistan. I'm even into doing research on the D-Day operation after 6June44. Particularly the bocage region and the fistfight up to and including the Falaise Gap. What I really like doing is the research connected to what I'm building at the time. I've got some SCALE MODELS magazines that go back to the 1970s!
