Personal interest:
The Soviet 61st Fighter Aviation Regiment began flying the Su-27P in 1989, and these were transferred to the Belarusian Air Force after the breakup of the Soviet Union in 1991. These aircraft were the primary Belarusian Air defense interceptor through its retirement in 2012. This model represents a Su-27P of the Belarusian Air Force.
