About:: IPMS Hellas is proud to announce its 33rd Annual Exhibition – Contest, which is going to be held in the Hockey Olympic Grounds at Hellinikon Olympic Complex, in Athens, between the 2nd and the 5th of October 2014.

In recent years, we have managed to improve and expand our exhibition, rendering it the premier modeling event in Greece both in size and popularity. Our efforts to expand beyond the local borders, have been successful and have had participants from Germany, Turkey, Serbia, as well as significant foreign modelers, such as Miguel Jimenez (Mig) from Spain and Per Olav Lund, from Norway, who have honoured us with their presence, as well as transmitting their extensive knowledge and experience in the form of seminars and workshops. Our special guest for this year is Spencer Pollard, from the UK.

Especially for 2014 the IPMS HELLAS Exhibition – Contest, will have two main themes:
a) 100 Years from the beginning of the First World War
b) 70 Years from the Allied Landings in Normandy (D-DAY)

Additionally, IPMS HELLAS is also hosting and jointly organizing two other major events. The 15th Star Club Annual Historical Model Figure Exhibition – Contest and the 2nd Annual Fantasy Figure & Armies Paintathlon (Painting Contest). In recent years, we have had an excellent and very successful close co-operation with the Star Club of Athens, a group of talented and internationally acclaimed figure enthusiasts, both sculptors and painters.
The success of last year’s first-ever Fantasy Figure & Armies “Paintathlon” Painting Contest was the guide to go forward with the second “Paintathlon” this year.

Finally, on the grounds just in front of the main event’s building there will be an open static display with several classic “old-timers” (preserved jeeps, trucks and other non-armoured vehicles), as well as groups of re-enactors with ancient, WWII and modern era uniforms.
