I've used this and the Black color version for heavier the 1/144 Real Grade (RG) kits like Sazabi & RX-93 v Gundam models, since the platform trio provides better stability.

Check the adapter that came with your Bandai kit and/or its instruction booklet for Action Base recommendations. This set comes with several different attachment pins and also an adjustable "waist-pincer" for times when you don't have a pin or don't want to use the pin/adapter combo.
