Alec KThis long-awaited model may still be released. Below in an excerpt from June 2 post on britmodeller.com/for..lease-in-202/page/2/ thread regarding its status:
Good: The company exists, the owners are alive, they did not close the business due to the war. In Warsaw they showed test sprues of the Dornier Do 23. The kit is very nice and will certainly be unique in the collection.
Bad: During one of the Russian attacks on Kyiv, a rocket hit next to the house of one of the owners. He and the family survived, but the warehouse was hit and shrapnel damaged the sprues.
Good: The model will be slightly modified, the fuselage will be reworked.
Bad: Unfortunately, they could not give a release date, but due to the attacks on the energy system, virtually everything is more or less delayed. The same applies to other projects like the Ar 232, Il-4, Be-4 and so on.
