From the picture of the sprue trees I want to say it's a rebox of their '94 kit but I'll leave it as Unknown for now since I don't own the kit.

Its sad too because their new World of Tanks T-34-85 kit features their brand new interior T-34-85 they released only a couple of years ago, but they're just reboxing a relatively ancient kit with this one...

I buy mine within the next days and will report back. For now, from looking at the pictures: They fixed the two things that were most dominant to me: First we get proper decals for this kit. The tracks seem to be redone too. The old ones have the late outer pattern from Elefant with a guide horn on each link - this combination never existed. We look at 500,600 and two 640mm wide tracks in context of the Typ 101 / 102, ideal would be 600mm wide track with guidehorn on each link or 640 with normal spacing but early pattern. I do have the old rebox already. The kit holds itself very well, even against the new book by Michael Fröhlich "Der andere Tiger", when rivet counting is kept to a looking for features thing. (Please excuse my bad English, it has been a long day ; )

I'm looking forward to hearing about the kit when you get it 🙂

Got it, can confirm: Decals changed, Manual changed. Tracks are the same s*it than before. Box says ,,new glueable rubber tacks". Contacted Italeri before calling it wat it seems to me atm ; ) Last hope had not died yet. (Compared against No. 278, the first release).

Got an answer from Italeri: Material used for the tracks changed, mold is still the same.

Ah so only the decals, manual, and track material changed. Good for newer people to use when building this kit and dont went to shell out lots of money for PE and a more engineered set.
