This is a Comet kit (vintage from the 60's) P-38. It has gone through 3 others before I acquired it and finally started construction a few years ago - then took up paragliding(!) Had to take a sabbatical from paragliding (due to a back injury),
so finally unpacked and re-started the build and I'm finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel. This is somewhat complex as I have to construct the two props (yes- they are counter-rotating) and decide how to build-up the landing gear. There are no vacuum-formed parts so this is all fabrication and carving. should end up with 34 inch wingspan and I intend it to be rubber-powered free-flight.
