Denis Dogadov kirjailijaTim, There is a special glue for gilding.
It is better if it is alcohol-based. It needs to be diluted, quite strongly, with alcohol. If you do not dilute it, you will not be able to tear off the excess foil.
But it can also be water-based, diluted with water. The diluted glue is applied to the foil, after which it must dry. The foil will be sticky, like duct tape.
