The fact, that you build this kit, show´s me that you obviously love to suffer! But i´m convinced you´ll make something nice out of it!

no, splinter camo all over - red/yellow spinner - gonna do aircraft that flew from Bismarck

those two awfull cilindric items in the kit ?? yes, I'll have to, otherwise there will be 4 gigantic holes in the win undersides

"awfull cilindric items"
Yes, they are very rudimentary molded. Dont you have any replacements? Ah, doesnt matter, some scratchbuild will make it though!😢

Have the same problem with my StuG IV. Small parts and big fingers is a bad mixture😢
9 May 2012, 12:36

I think you got that wrong, Holger. "Braille scale" is extra big for the blind and ham-fisted = 1/24 😎

Zimmi, you are a brave man to be tackling this kit. And in the "Gentleman's Scale" at that! Rigging looks very nice, can't wait to see it finished! 🙂

You're going fast Zimmy, nice progress and it look great, greetz Phil

received the decals, airfix did a good job, they worked fine with set & sol
14 May 2012, 19:53

I feel a bit sorry for the bubbles under the decal of pic 16. But the rest and especially the rigging is absolutely great done, i love it!🙂
14 May 2012, 19:58

Ah its fresh? Ok, then you shall have "the force on your side"😢 and can change it😢!
14 May 2012, 20:04

approx to 🙂 I used Gunze H78 and H302 on topside - RLM65 underside
21 May 2012, 20:08

RLM65 from Gunze? The Arado looks very good, i love the camo, you did!
21 May 2012, 20:54

nothing special though, just some in panellines and around raised details
22 May 2012, 13:38

Well done Zimmy! I like this aircraft!
Did you try if it floats? 🙂
6 June 2012, 14:39

I did Willy, and it does 🙂🙂 this was trying if 1/72 would be something for me cause I'm planning to change to that scale for the big ones
6 June 2012, 14:41

Hey Zimmi, judging from the last pix, you can be proud of your work! Rigging-check, great paintjob-check, nice decalling and finish-check!😉
6 June 2012, 16:36

thnx guys, for being this a "quick" build I'm quite comfortable about it
8 June 2012, 12:28

Hi Zimmy,
did your thread totally overseen! S...! 🙂 Sorry
Well done result for such a horrible kit! I can`t understand your selection. There are so many nice engineered kits on the market and you start an old Airfix kit🙂
You are a brave man.. must be so....
Nonetheless a fine paintjob.
