The model of the Grumman F-14A Tomcat aircraft built from the Monogram kit presented in this album came to me as model scrap. The kit was started and incomplete and damaged (broken upper fuselage). After completing the missing elements and repairing the damaged parts, the model was built in the original painting using original Monogram decals. The model shows an aircraft from the VF-142 squadron operating from the deck of the USS AMERICA aircraft carrier.
