Had hoped to build this great looking car OOB but I've some how mislaid the all be it limited decal sheet. I was going to have a go at doing my own decals or stencils but in look for info I found a sheet from DECALDOC.COM which includes all the extra advertising.

Thanks #Alberto.
While I know some go for total accuracy I thought with this scale I'd go for the appearance for reality which give impression of what is believed to be real

That's great work on this kit. I was gifted one last year and built it pretty much straight from the box. Your additions really take it to the next level.

H'mmm. At the moment it's looking like a Machinen Krieger flyer. Masterful work on that old kit though. 👍🥸🤘

Cheers folks sorry for the tardiness of progress, things just keep getting in way.
Hope to get some colour on today finally

The shop.decaldoc.de/index.php decals are great design but are a bit of a challenge for me. I find them tricky to get into the grooves so much so I totally messed up the roof top gold and had to cobble together a cover from extra gold decals. I'm not sure how they will take the layering yet so will leave them over night. I like the use of a silver base layer to boost the decals colour and prevent paint colour leaking and affecting the top decal. Another point on decaldoc decals is the top film is the whole decal sheet so you have to cut each out and there is no placement image so a good subject reference is required.
That all said they look good so 🤞I don't mess them up any further

The Ford is looking nice, Sy! I didn't know about the silver either, it might be useful in the future 👍

#Ben M &#Alberto thanks for the comments as for the silver under the top decal they work great and are provided the correct size and shape by the decal producer Decaldoc of Germany. I'd never seen this approach before and I'll keep the unused silver decals for future use on my own work as they really give the white a punch - seethe wee Ford logo on the side strip (no silver under ) compared to the white discs!

Well the terror of removing mask struck and in internal glass is all messed up, it looks like moisture however time in sun and in airing cupboard does not help.. I'll continue to gloss and polish the bodywork then I'll take stock befor next steps. I may have a go at cutting out the glass to clean and replace testing a side window first, 🫣 yet more work on a fill in kit 🙄.
Lesson for today is do not fix glass with external masks on check the internal glass is clean, but there you go this is modelling not assembly. Least I've had practice replacing glass see my last model - RNLI Shannon Class Lifeboat | Album by Sybar (1:72)
