That's awesome, I had to kick my kids out of the house so that I could get one of their bedrooms to set up my modeling space.
Be careful that your space heater does not light up one of your paint tins!!!

So in the space station photo, are there really leaves on your ceiling, or is the photo upside down?
Wifey calls my fort the "hangar." 🙂

And rightly so! Because it's the 60s Batmobile! Back in the days when the Batmobile didn't look all that different than the latest Oldsmobile Rocket 98 cruiser!

Actually, I'd intended on donating the ISS to a library or grade school, but I couldn't bring myself to part with it. So, it hangs from a couple lengths of wire. I've also hung my Sea King. The great thing is, with the oscillating fan, the ISS turns in a very slow half circle, back and forth. The solar panels catch just enough wind.

Album info
They call them 'Man Caves'. Mine is a fort. I've had a fort everywhere I've ever lived from childhood to the present.
It's not a finished, polished rec room. It's in farest, back part of the basement with some old cubicle dividers and cinder block walls. Camouflage tyvek covers the ceiling.
My wife once said she thought I should paint it. I told her, it's a fort, not a doll house. A space heater in the winter and a tiny a/c unit in summer.
I'll post images once I get some.
