A little bit too dark but I think you use the Promodelers wash? I also had the same effect on my Yak-3.

What is there more to say than my predecessors did - good job especially on the painting! Like it! 👍

Michael. It may appear that way due to an auto tone filter I used to kill some of the lighting in the pic. I used highlighting and shading in the paint job to bring the colors out. Lengthy process but it adds dimension. Thanks for the compliments every one

Well done paint job and an amazing weathering!
This beauty F-16 is so full of live and you achieved a wonderful depth at the entire surface.
A truly masterpiece and one of those trophy hunters with special eyecatcher app!!! 🙂

Beautiful handiwork! The amount of weathering that you did could have been overpowering, but you've managed to keep it "to scale." It could just be the lighting in the photos, but it looks like you did the same thing with yours that I did with my Sufa - using the Israeli desert camouflage colors from years ago. The current colors used by the Israelis are very pale, especially the green, but also the brown to some extent. When I first saw photos of the actual Barak, I thought it was just faded paint, but in reality the paint colors have been toned way down. I think this picture shows what I mean:

Nevertheless, you've demonstrated some amazing skills here!

Yeah Bill. My concern was that the pale green was already so light..especially in contrast to the sand color the I was afraid that after I lightened it even further to highlight that it would blend too much with the tan ruining the effect. Its hard to gauge sometimes so i just opted to play it safe for the sake of contrast.
