Album info

This is the second of 2 new completed builds for me to add. This is the 1:48 scale AH-1T from Italeri. First off I want to say I have been a fan of all Bell helicopters and more so on the AH-1 group. I liked the 80's coloring for the marines helos and wanted to model a helo from where I am from...so this is it! I started by using the "Master" gun instead of the fake looking gun in the kit. I got 2 sets of TOW racks from Floyd Werner and they help out soooo much. Thanks Floyd! The coloring is Model Master "US Marines Green" and it is an EXACT match. The color the kit instructs you to use is way off. I used the same technique I used to color my UH-1N IR jammer as I did this one. The decals were from the kit and they are from an aircraft that was at New River, NC. Well, Hope you like and Enjoy!!!
