Thanks for the interest, Mike. Yes, I repaint all of these little guys, usually by brush, sometimes with a follow-up of air-brushed clear coats.

I heard that the plastic isn't styrene, is that right? If so how do you go about gluing/sanding/filling etc?

They are made of a semi-transparent, soft plastic which I always thought was some type of styrene. Regardless, it responds well to Tamiya superthin liquid cement and CA glues. My favorite method of filling is to use Mr. Surfacer 500 followed by 1200 and light sanding. Paints are either Vallejo or ModelMaster Acryl.
