The kit was purchased on ebay and the quality of the decals was very poor. I tried using them but they broke up in the water. So I had to replace them.

A tip for you. Before using older decals give the whole sheet a coat of clear, leave to dry.
It stops the decals from breaking up when soaking and applying😢

Once you've sprayed the clear and it's dried for a few days yes they are usable.
Little bit more care than usual, but you should be ok!!! You will also have to trim them a bit more because of the extra clear...
