This is one of to models presented as a set to the outgoing Chief Executive of the Royal International Air Tattoo, Tim Prince. He cited one of his most memorable Air Tattoo moments as the unofficial race between a Skycrane and a Lightning F1A in 1972; the Skycrane won! This is one of those two aircraft that displayed at the North Weald show that year.
