I remember getting my first pair of long trousers, I was 13 or 14 and I felt so proud and grown up.
They were not fashion busters, but boy did they maketh me a man... Lol (((😄 )))
Children today just don't know what it's like to grow up, they really are missing out!!!

@Stefan! can you actually see the road ahead, you're using a periscope maybe.
Too early for sat-nav...
Ahh! I know you cut a hole in the glove compartment.;)
Bet those Trews cut a dash with the girls, lots of games of kiss chase...😄😄😄

😳 I still don't understand why some people thought I'm a girl... well, still better than the trousers nowadays. Those kids today bend forward and you get the idea to put a coin in the.... you know what I mean... and wait for some music starting to play 😉

By the way... I didn't need to see the road... my brother next to me was a perfect co-rider: "long 6 left, 6 right don't cut into 6 right opens... 😉

insert coins not so much, perhaps flowers instead ? 😄
trouser fashions these days, I tell them that they look like they have shat them selves or that they are carrying a potatoes in the back of their pants, a little gentle ridicule never hurt anyone 🙂

Album info
This VW Beetle was my dad's first Volkswagen, and it served as our family car from 1969 until 1974. The pictures show my dad's Beetle, my mom, my brother (6 years old) and me (9 years old).
