ok .. lets do a WW2 tank ... a Panther Ausf D ... this is my first time building a Panther .... it is in braille scale ... about 80 + parts .. no PE and the DS tracks wish me luck ...

My beob. panther has a gap as well....seeing as it's diecast I guess I will have to break out my DeWalt grinder 😛

not much progress today .... just playing around with my daughter's new camera ... nice

ok .. progress looks good ... manage to get the running gear and the back of the hull ... stop here for today .. continue tmrw ... I may start to prime and put on base coat on the lower hull first ...

ok .. so tonight .. i start to focus on the lower hull and the wheels ...
just primed and 1st layer of basecoat ... using humbrol 83 enamel (dark yellow) .. hand paint for now ... until i sort out the AB set ..

Izzy, I don't know which I like better, either the cutting mat with all the paint all over it or the model it was meant to land on Ha Ha Ha (only jokin' mate). 🙂 Seriousl though, Dragon do make nice kits and so far you have really done well with it. 😉

ok .. second layer of base coat done on the lower hull .. at the same time work on the inner wheel of the panther ..... hmmm nice progress ... and i found a substitute for my humrol thinner ... zippo fluid ...
