I had a lot of work on this one.... The kit was hideous as far as it lining up and the thickness of the plastic. I wanted to do a low visibility aircraft instead of the grey and cream color. The only thing I did extra was superscale decals for cherry point, NC and stole the AIM 9L sidewinders I had extra from my AH-1T kit. I have only seen a few equipped with different armament. I also know that VMAQ-1 didnt have the "Carolina Panthers" badge on the tail, just wanted a little something different.... I rarely ever model a specific subject just due to different colors,etc..... I think it turned out pretty decent for what I had to do to it....
