Exceptionally good diorama Luis. Beautifully painted.
Markus: I was looking at your diorama yesterday, and that's what I was thinking about your figure painting.

I've already tried it with oil paints but their long drying time frightens me.Acryl dries faster but I think the trick is layer for layer to apply. And there I partly lack the patience.
So @Luis......How do you paint your Figures? Thanks for hints 👍

Looks amazing! I also want to know the figure painting secrets 😛 I just started out with oils and I'm getting mixed results.

I'm glad you like it!
Markus, my figures I always paint them with acrylics.
To dilute them I use the Ultramate AK varnish, it's fantastic to get the textures of the uniforms.
I also use what in Spain we call "wet palette" consisting of a container (a small tray for example) with water on which we place a kitchen paper and on top of it a baking paper. On it I put the colors that I will use and I make the mixtures that I need. The moisture in the paper causes the paint not to dry and I can paint with the same mixture all day long.
Even the paint can serve for several days if you keep your palette in the refrigerator, although this may bother your wife. 🙂

The wet palette is the Best to paint acrylics...theres no better way.
