Alistair GrahamI was installing a large computer controlled coordinate measuring machine into the newly built Iran Khodro design building. They were going to design an indigenous car and the machine was for inspection. I remember pilots with f-14 flight suits coming into the plant to pick up their paykan (spelling probably wrong). The minister for industry and TV crews came in when I finished the installation. Great country and fantastic friendly people. Saw F5s and what I think we're MiG 23/27 at Shiraz when I had some leisure time off.
