Thanks James! I was sooo afraid to do a NMF, but I am pretty happy with how it turned out. Now I am not so worried about building the Monogram B-58 I have in my stash.

You did a heck of a job there mate. Really good NMF. I was worried about silvering appearing under the Oklahoma Kid but it turned out perfect. Kudos.

One eyecatcher after another! Looks like this plane just jumped out of an airfight!

Your NMF turned out fantastic Michael. Well done!
No issue with the decals? I have the same set from Lifelike but going for the P-51B one, "the Bee" 🙂

Thanks Spanjaard, Maciej, Christian, Ali, Erik, gorby, Christian, Liale, and Stephen! I am overwhelmed with the positive feedback you have all given me on this project.
Maciej, I ended up putting a future coat down on the black area before I decaled, and applied a medium gray wash... Then went back in with the flatcoat. I am happy with the result there.
Ali, the decals are printed by Cartograf, and are fantastic to work with. You will be very happy with their performance.

Thanks David and Holger! I kinda messed up the propeller blade positions, but it was easy to do with the aftermarket props that really had no guide... and I don't know much about propeller planes. LOL

No prob Michael with the prop...... U can just say that the pitch system failed at low pitch/cruise setting hahahah

Well Michael, you know enough to make a good looking model! I love that black nose! Very nice Mustang. 👍

Thanks Jeff and Gary!
Haha David, I don't even know what that is! But let's say that is EXACTLY what happened. LMAO
