Another Matchbox re-issue from Revell, 2012. From what I read it was one of Matchbox's best kits from the late 70s. Looks pretty nice to me. The rigging WONT be fun !! lol
One of the last in a line of biplane flying boats, served early in WWII.

I've got this one in the stash as well. The rigging is keeping me from starting, I want a bit more practise with that.
The circular part in picture 12 is from....... the end of the sprue in picture 3, the one with the fuselage halves. I think you'll be able to fix it to the end between the engine cowlings. I don't think you'll need it though 🙂
Are you going for the aluminum paintjob or the camo?
Definitely watching with interest.

Sharp eye there Martin! I see it now. Damn,,,, I looked & looked,,, I figured it was something like that!
Well good, no broken parts then! Probably camo Martin,,, not sure,,, I've done a few camos and they turned out good. If I did it aluminum, it would be just that,,, plain aluminum,,, like the C-119, nothing fancy.
Atta Boy Wilky !! lol Which kit?

The usual seam lines with the MB kits. but a beauty all the same, and with your talent, it will shine. 🙂

Did you find a home for the little disc of plastic that was 'floating' around. ? 🙁

Yea! Martin seemed to spot it right off! just part off the end of the tree. I knew it had to be something like that, it just didn't look like a "part" to me. Cheers Kerry

I have the Academy Sopwith Camel. Fingers crossed I'm going for a half hour flight in a Tiger Moth in three weeks time and I wish to make a model of it
