Kübelwagen Diorama

Just started this little in-between-Project with the basic groundwork and the assembly of the Kübelwagen. The wayside cross will be replaced by another shrine. Next steps will be further assembly of the Kübelwagen and completing the base.

Thanks for your interest mates. I added a new picture with the replaced shrine. What do you think, does the shrine or the wayside cross fit better to the scene?

Go for the shrine 👍 Good looking dio base so far! And the Kübel is fun to build, I used the Black Dog 'resin plug' on the back seat on my kübel as well. Looks gorgeous when painted!

Thanks Sebastian, the shrine won the race.
I spent some more hours on this project. The groundwork is mainly done and I painted the shrine. Tomorrow it will gets its clearcoat and the I ca start with the weathering. After that I will start with the foliage of the birch or finish the assembly of the Kübelwagen.

Meanwhile I finished the shrine and added some more plants. Adding the foliage to the birch is a real hackwork, so it is not finished yet. After completing the tree I will finish the assemby of the Kübelwagen and start painting.
I hope you like the base so far. Cheers

I finished the tree and gave the Kübelwagen a first coat of primer and preshading.
Next will be painting the vehicle and the figures

A liile progress, the Kübelwagen got its color coat. Next will be some detail-painting and first weathering, before I start with the figures.

I cut the foliage into small stripes and glued them on the single branches. It was a real hackwork but I think it's worth the effort
