F-4J Phantom II

Painting of body completed. 

All decals applied. 

I think I didn't apply good enough layer of clear varnish (Pledge wax). No matter how much I tried to get the decal to properly set with micro-sol, it didn't improve the situation much. Lesson learned: always apply two layers of Pledge.

- AIM-7 Sparrow
- AIM-9 Sidewinder
- MK-82 bomb with fuse extender 

Wheels painted. 

Additions to bombs made from leftover decals. 

Making the yellow strips more writing-like with some additional paint. 

Applying an oil wash. 

Assembling ammo racks. 

Lending gear and ammo racks installed. 

Pilot finally in. 

Windscreens ready. 

All finished. Yay!
