Hi Johan. You seem to have mastered this old kit. How did you find the plastic? I recently added its PBY stablemate to my stash and it all seems very brittle, all the blades have snapped off the hubs for eg. Not sure if mine is the 1965 or 1997 one though.

The nose is from my now donor revell privateer
The kit itself is from 1969ish was in warped condition though not brittle. Only some small parts and nosecone were missing.
Not finished yet, anyone got a good idea for colour of nose to make it look like glass???

Been watching your turmoil. I have the 'Navy' version of your kit. Same thing but the plastic is blue.
U.S. Navy PB4Y-1 Patrol Bomber (Revell H-205:200, 1:72)
I found some old Squadron Vac-U- form canopies that I will use if I get up the nerve to build it
Boeing B-24D Canopy Set (Squadron 9143, 1:72)
I did see it on sale on ebay - if it is not too late for you
