But this is just one step of the way....

No it' not finished until now
Now it follows the hole weathering, the figures and a small base

Not only the model, even the grass and mud effects look awesome!

Great result. As Mirko already said, the mud looks aweseme, very real. 👍

Love this one butiful work and interesting set up
Makes you think how it would be to be there

The model looks great, I particularly like the color tone and the camouflage pattern.

Thanks for your feedback jv, bohrmann and micky!
@jv: you probably saw the reference picture,
an elephant can be seen there, but i think that the ferdinands had had similar situations before😉
@bohrmann: I also think that the pre shading worked very well on this model.
The used colors are RAL7028 and RAL6003

Yes I did see it well done you always make it interesting
Not just the model

Wonderful model and figures. I love the bogged down setting too - it tells a nice story about the impracticality of these monsters.

Hi neil, alec and kim thanks for your comments!
This picture of the elephant has fascinated me since i saw it for the first time.
It's actually not very spectacular but I knew I had to implement it once

A perfect paint job - as expected from Simon 🙂. Simple but very convincing vignette. Spot on. While I thought that the tow bar on your Abrams looked a bit out of place, here the cables are just the cherry on the cake. Your painting makes all the imperfections of the figures negligible. I just like this bogged down giant.

Thank you Michael🙃
That was one of my first models after my return (and the first 1:72 model from Dragon) that I had finished.
And the figures were also one of my first attempts at this scale.
But overall I'm quite happy with it.
I still have the Trumpeter in stock, the possibility of being able to make it even better😉
Thank you again and thanks everyone for the likes!

I much like the small sceneries you create - excellent work as always Simon 👍

Thank you Christian, a compliment I only can give back!

Hey Simon! Very nice paintwork. I like the simplicity of the diorama's layout. Will follow your work. 🙂

Thank you very much S.S.I.!
Be assured, you're always welcome 😁

How could I have overlooked this absolutely convincingly built, painted and beautifully weathered Ferdinand? Congratulations on this superb model Simon!

Thank you so much Stefan!!
At the moment I am revising some of my earlier works to better adapt them to the others.
Maybe you have already come across the older version of it 😂
