As soon as the first version of the Il-2 single-seater from the ZVEZDA appeared, I immediately thought of a two-seater and began to look forward to the novelty. After the new year, the box was in my hands without any aftermarket, I decided not to delay the construction for a long time, and started a new project. I decided not to make the prototypes that ZVEZDA offers. I chose a prototype of the aircraft of the commander of the 617 Assault Aviation Regiment without a tail number, but with the inscription Suvorov on both sides. I just drew an inscription in a vector and cut it as a mask from an ORACAL film, painted a white background and applied a film to it.
The model itself is beautifully designed, excellent detail. There are basically no problems with docking, small gaps are easy to eliminate. The surface is without rivets, but they are easy to apply yourself. And that's where I ran into a problem. When rolling, the wonderful plastic from the ZVEZDA began to layer, bubble and climb in chunks. To be honest, I already wanted to send everything to the trash, but then I managed to clean up the problem areas and eliminate them, although if you look closely in some places there was a relief drop.
