Chaparral pictures

One of my squads and their MIM-72A/M48 Chaparral when I was a Platoon Leader in the 24th Infantry Division (Mech). Fort Stewart, GA. Late 1980's. 

The Forward Area Alerting Radar. I was later a Platoon Leader of this system. The AN-MPQ-49. Also at Ft Stewart, GA. In the late 1980's it was about 30 years old, but honestly felt much older. 

This one wasn't one of mine. This picture was probably taken at Fort Bliss, TX.
