Since the primer layer was black, I just restrained the coloring alongside the panel lines.
It saved a lot time for me to do other things, and some shades can still be achieved properly.

Tom B.Interesting... I initially thought of it being a black-base, then silver, then shading blended in afterwards with another layer of silver... but why overthink when one can be more effective 👍

with the Super Saber from Trumpeter you have chosen a great model. In my opinion this is the best kit in this scale and an interesting aircraft. I also toyed with the idea of building this model, but then decided on the F-86F Saber. For me it was also the first time that I painted in high-gloss colors.
When I look at your pictures, the desire to build this airplane comes back to me. Were you happy with the fit? Did you airbrush the dark shadows along the panel lines in the turbine area?
So far it looks very promising and it will definitely be a great model - like all the ones you have published on scalemates.
