Cheers James. My first 1;32. My next will be a Spit in the same scale, then a Hurricane.

Good work! Very nice paintwork and details. Doing the H2000 E7 right now myself and I'm liking the bigger scale.

I've somehow missed these comments.
Thanks Rui, much appreciated from your goodself.
Cheers John, thanks for your comments. But after seeing yours I think you're doing a better job of it 🙂

For being your first aircraft in a long time, you did a fantastic job. That paint job and the cockpit are so good.

Thanks for saying so Derek. I was happy with it until I saw what other modelers can do. But isnt that always the case 🙂

That came out well. Never saw the logic of this paint job. It's like when people wear camo trousers and a hi-viz jacket. Do they want to be seen or not! 🤣

That is what I like about ww2 German camo. You can see the evolution of their position in the conflict. It started with camo , then, when rtehy were master of the sky, they painted bright colors to better recognized among themselves. Once they looses the advantage, you see them toning doing the camo to end up with woodland camo to hide their last airplanes in the wood next to the autobahn. To me, it kind of resume the tragedic story ark of the German army in ww2.

Thanks John. You're right. A bright yellow nose is a lot easier to spot

Hi Guillaume. You make an interesting observation about the camo patterns. It never occurred to me before.

Cheers Mr Mango, that likes to doubt 🙂 The oil wash really made those rivets pop.

That is gorgeous, very nice indeed! Love the cockpit, very good detail.

Thankyou Jennifer. I'm glad you like it. It's built straight out of the box.

I like this one, especially for the paintwork and weathering. And I like Guillaume´s interesting comment on German camouflage philosophy.

Cheers Neuling. Yes, I like Guillaume's comment on German camo throughout the process of the war, very interesting

Perfect Messherschmitt! The mottling is gorgeous - and the subtle weathering around the access panels and subdues rust applied on the exhaust and parts of the engine cowlings round it off perfectly.

Thanks for your comments CaptPF, I struggled with the mottling and went over it a few times to where I thought it looked okay.

Thanks for your likes Arif. I prefer your camo pattern on your lovely 109 build
