Surfer '56 Chevy
Revell 1956 Chevy Del Ray

This 56 Chevy was built to show off the 235 straight 6 that I designed a bunch of Thickstun hop up parts for. The car required a modified firewall to match the factory radiator placement for a straight 6 car. The chassis was also modified with a 3d printed rear frame section I designed to notch the chassis in order to tuck the rear axle high enough for the car to lay frame. The rear got a scratch built four link air suspension while the front got dual wishbone air. I also designed a set of taillights allowing one of them to be popped showing the hidden gas cap. I also designed up a vintage drop rail mounted roof rack to hold the surfboard.
