I totally missed this build… 🙁 But it looks awesome! 👍 How well did the Syhart decals fit the Revell kit? Any issues shape wise?

Especially, how do the decals fit around the main gear wells as those shapes seem to differ between manufacturers.

The fit on the revell kit was very close. I believe I just had to add a little black in one spot, but nothing terrible. The most tricky part was the top of the aircraft as I found that the instructions are a bit fuzzy on where the black/orange limit should be done. I had a miss, but airbrushed over varnish and decals before the final clear coat… it did the trick.
For the orange, I used a Vallejo game air color that was very close to the aircraft one.

Alright! Thank you for that detailed explanation, Matthieu! That puts the Revell F-4F on a list of good candidates for those Syhart decals. 🙂
