Shine toned down with enamel Matt coat.

Tiny at 1:144, so small brushes only!

The yellow almost completely disappeared whilst the decals were still not loosened from the backing paper. Grrr!

Some weathering with oils, and that's about as good as I can achieve

All decals on, undercarriage installed, and kettenkrad hitched up.

A light clear coat has brought out the colours and got rid of the 'dry' appearance.

The hemispherical covers were very thick, so have been thinned down lots.

I've not painted the front of the engine cowl in the copper colour, as I don't have that paint, yet...

Replacement Lewis gun is a tiny PE kit in itself. Superb quality MG.

Clear coat over all surfaces, and a very dilute, mud-brown, filter over each side, to tone down the decals.

A wee touch up on the tyres needed. Not sure there's much I do on the rest....

Having now seen several really nice looking builds recently, I realised that 'pristine' is too bland.

Having messed up the decal, I need to try to paint the red lines.

Figures assembled and painted. The standing MP has optional left and right arms, so several variations possible.

The canopy is very cloudy, but nevertheless it was good practice to try to paint the framing.

I chickened out of going the full Pink Panther, so hoping that the slight warmth added to the sandy colour is acceptable...

Getting the balance of paint and thinner was key... that, and modifying the paints so the tone and contrast look right, ...

Managed to break off the pitot tube and one machine gun, so some running repairs still to be done.

Undercarriage braced too, plus machine gun re-painted. Yes, I should try to properly fit the gizmo for the control cable...

The intention was to match the unusual box-art colours. Tried 'wet on wet' to softly blend one colour into the next.
