To the knowledge of few the LVT was not only used in the Pacific theatre but also in NW Europe.
They were used during the landings in France and the crossing of the Rhine into Germany as well as means to manouvre the flooded battlefield of the Neatherlands.
The british variant was equipped with a Polsten 20mm autocannon and two 30. browning machine guns in boxshields.

Resicast Polsten kit and Eduard exterior PE set will hopefully arrive next month. I have decided for the Markings of the LVTs used during the invasion of Walcheren in 1944. maybe ill build a dio based on this pic: [img1] Ill probably use a Diorama kit of Miniart.

Got some work done i hope the dimensions work out. I used the height of the LVT as a basis.
