Thank you Trez, it's been a while since I started using elastic thread for all of my rigging and antenna wires, it saves me lot of time and mental sanity!!! It is the High Elastic Rigging Thread (Uschi van der Rosten 4007, No)
I am not sure what you are referring to about mask, but I used Eduard mask for canopy, Tamiya yellow tape and Microscale MicroMask liquid mask.

@Trez : I think you are referring to photo #6. It is the MicroScale Micro Mask, a liquid mask medium. It is useful in most occasions, can be applied with a toothpick or a brush, can be cleaned with water but you cannot paint with water based paint on it, obviously.
I have the Tamiya equivalent too, it is of a greener color but works in the same way, maybe it is a little denser.
I used the blue MicroMask for the tail and rudder camouflage, and to fill the space between the masking tape in the checker band.
