I like the way you take photos, mein Lieber. Pic 3 Looks freaking original!!! Really well done dio!

One pass to just take in the whole scene, then a careful study picture by picture - breaks like this make a dull working day much more attractive... Great stuff where the eye can see, my personal fav´s are the (obvious) teal windshield & side windows, but the rear lower section assembly is also just a joy to look at 👍 Pictures top notch as usual, top job all around!

Thank you mates for your appreciation! Slavo, I always like to read your precise analysis and Bachmann prize worthy lyrics. You and Holger really spend a lot of time watching and commenting scalemates builds.

This is top of the Art, ach ich krieg das in Englisch nich so richtig hin, ich beuge mein Haupt in den Staub von deinem Dio.Von den Fahrzeugen in dem Licht und Winkel fotografiert kann man nichts hinzufügen, nur Bewundern, Tolle Sache das mit uns hier zu Teilen. Mach weiter so!

Einfach nur gelungen! Die Fotos & Perspektiven sind mal wieder grandios! 👍

@Neuling - I just try to put credit where credit is due and give the models & builders who I think deserve it some proper attention😉 You build really good stuff & take it out into the plain natural light which I think is one of the more difficult setups to work with, and crank out top shots in terms of camera position, focus & shadow direction... I salute your work - what camera are you using btw?

Looks awesome mate! 👍 Had to look twice on picture 3 and 5. Looks like the real one. 👍
What figure did you use for the truck driver?
27 June 2019, 10:15

I agree with all the above, some of the pictures simply can be confused with reference pictures. The level of realism and the photography are simply perfect. You nailed it again Neuling!!!
28 June 2019, 04:46

Thanks a lot gentlemen! Ingo, the truck driver is a (German) driver of MiniArt "WW II Drivers". Slavo, I photograph with Panasonic DMC-FX01. Btw I recently had the opportunity to hear the Wiener Philhamoniker at Schönbrunn Castle in your beautiful hometown. Of course I also paid visit to the "Heeresgeschichtliches Museum" ("Krieg gehört ins Museum"😢. Very interesting exhibition on a high technical and didactic level, similar to the Bundeswehrmuseum in Dresden. Only disappointment was the Panzergarten: the vehicles were in a deplorable condition. The Panzerhalle was not accessible.

Ah, the HGM - struggling with it's own tank-collection... 🙂 - there are some unique Great War exhibits & a couple of really nice ship models I recall - You just made your trip before the overcrowded summer season, right move! Should you take a trip to Salzburg, don't forget to check the Red Bull Hangar 7!😉

Amazing and authentic Dio with outstanding detailwork and colorwork... Your skills are just enviable 👍
10 July 2019, 16:34

Wonderful work all around Neuling! Not to detract from all of the greatness of these builds but the digital camo on the uniforms translated quite nicely.
11 July 2019, 16:35

Thanks Nathan! Wish army tailors would more take into account modelers`needs.
12 July 2019, 14:01

Truly amazing. Great diorama and the best model photos I've ever seen.
25 July 2019, 15:27

That's a brilliant idea to take a photo with sunlight. Looks very natural.
17 August 2019, 09:50

Another most atmospheric dio, superbly executed.... I am delighted and deeply impressed!
17 August 2019, 11:09

Excellent diorama. The natural sunlight really makes it look like it natural environment.
23 August 2019, 19:50

Neuling ! Your dio's get anymore real and amazing, your going to give me flashbacks of the Gulf ! Great Work as always my friend !
23 August 2019, 19:51

Thanks mates! Bob I am honored that a gulf war veteran assesses my diorama scenery as realistic.
25 August 2019, 18:19

Now all you need is 200 Iraqi Soldiers surrendering to 1 American Soldier or an AH-64 Apache for the complete circle. LOL !!!!!!
25 August 2019, 19:05

Missed that one. Actually nothing to add. The praise of the mates is fully justified. Good ol drybrushing brings a lot to life. Would be nice to know if you used any aftermarket stuff.

Fantastic work Neuling, as always, stunning details and finiture,
some shots seem to portray a real scene,
congrats!

Thanks a lot, mates! Much appreciated! - Michael, I do remember that a pimped the vehicles up a little, but I don´t remember whether it was out of the scrap box or aftermarket stuff.
29 October 2024, 16:09

Very impressive. Looks so realistic. Your pictures are very nice. The light is perfect. Congrats 👏
29 October 2024, 16:51

at some point, i was thinking you mixed real photos between your diorama. it is excellent! great work.
4 November 2024, 12:50

This place is full of masters but your work is exceptional. I fully agree you are the Rembrandt of scale modeling!
26 November 2024, 18:22

Very nice, love the painting. How'd you do the ground, did you use natural sand or something made for scale modeling?
26 November 2024, 18:34

Thanks a lot, Chrisswe and Kesa Tiho! - Kesa, I used "Busch Geländebaumörtel sandbraun", Vallejo paint "dark sand" and dry pigments desert color.
