it is a shame to have to close and hide all this nice details; that´s why we take photos and save it here, just to remember 🙂 I see you are using this new alclad colors, how do they perform? they are just for airbrush or you can brush paint them? are they enamels?

Hi Cesar and thanks for the kind comments. I have tried them with a brush and they were not too bad. They covered quite well. I would recommend the use of an airbrush though 🙂

Heres an update on the Shackleton. The Fuselage and wings are now joined and copiuose work has gone into getting the seam work done. Just need to mask off the Wheel Bays and the bombay is only closed to act as a mask as it will be open for display. All the Wheel well work is done and detailed. So tonight and tomorrow after visiting the Mums the micromesh will come out to clean her all up ready for Alclad Micro-Filler and Primer. Alclad MIL-SPEC enamels will be used for the main paint work.
