Nope, I did think about it but I was scared of ruining it. And I figured the panel lines showed up ok anyway.

Well, the windscreen is a bit messed up, but you CAN still see through it, just. At least it isn't completely fogged.

The cockpit is looking nice though, the problem you describe is not noticeable from the pictures. also, I understand your caution with washes, I had quite some trouble in my Tomcat build last year🙂

I figured the panel lines were ok as they were too.

And yes, the canopy was not as bad as I feared, it's only the very front 3 panes though, and i'm still annoyed about it.

I'm actually planning to do another Il-2 at some point, i'm thinking Hobbyboss's 1/32 Il-2 with skis. It would be the first 1/32 aircraft I have ever done if I do.
