Rui, I made the flag by airbrushing one of those tracing/grease proof paper sheets you get with decals, and then cutting it out. I used a pen to make it bendy, and then wrapped it around a painted cocktail stick and glued the end.

Hmmm, one thing that I'm not loving about this kit is that Meng have placed several sprue attachments over lips that are supposed to mate up. This makes clean up a real bear! 😠

Nigel, this was a huge problem for me! I cleaned it up best I could but it still caused some nasty fit problems...

Rui, thank you! I wasn't sure if it would work but it seemed to work ok, albeit not quite as flexible as it probably should be. 🙂
