More space ships. Watching. 👀
I like the shape of this ship. It is both blocky but also streamlined.

Thanks, mates! 🙂 I think it's streamlined because the design philosophy of the Galactic Empire is that the ship should be able to land on a planet.

Thanks for the info, mate. 🙂
I watched a few episodes of the remake of the series, while it was quite interesting the battles were a bit underwhelming.
Not sure if it holds up to the original, I haven't seen it either.
The space ships are looking great, though. I think I need to go shopping again. 😄
But it looks like they are not that easy to get a hold of anymore.

You're welcome, WhiteGlint! I also have watched the remake, but also the original series twice. I think battles are in both a bit underwhelming when there are thousands of ships lined up shooting each other like in Napoleonic wars. In return there are extremely bloody hand-to-hand combat scenes with battle axes... (strange but genious imo)
It is shame these kits by Alba Creates are almost extinct. I bought this Lübeck and Parcivale from HLJ a few years ago. There is only 3D-printing left.

3D printing is an option. Thank you for the reminder.
Battle axe fights in a space opera? Well, why not? There is melee combat in other Sci-Fi as well. Maybe I should give the series another try. 😄

The ship looks great, mate.
What will you do about the stand, can you try it again?

I managed to try again getting golden crest with wash. I didn't want to buy new wash but use what I already had: acrylic Vallejo 77.725 Gold and enamel AK472 Xtreme Metal Gold. First I thought AK-gold could be thinned with white spirit, but I was wrong. Finally I thinned Vallejo-gold with Vallejo-thinner and succeeded.
Stand needs now finishing varnish and the model shall be ready.

Beautiful result!
You also did some fine weathering on the spaceship and the stand is a great addition to the model. 👍
