Thank you very much to all , my Aermacchi progressing slowly but surely. A lot of work on this kit but this resin conversion is really interesting. Here I continue the engrave session and the preparation before painting 😉

Nice result. I particularly like the sun faded appearance of the orange part of the tip tanks. Which color did you use? It is an effect that will come in handy for quite some modern German planes.

Thank you so much Michael!! 🙂
For the orange Dayglow paint : I first applied an undercoat of white. Then I painted with "Luminous Orange" from AK Real colors RC207 (RAL2005). For the sun faded aspect above the tanks , I use paint with a very diluted white. Be careful when diluting ... but you can always rebalance the shades with Luminous orange 😉

Fantastic job on this plane, and some figure painting skills also! Pilots look terrific, I guess they're not included in the kit. Bravo!

Thank you very much for your nice comment David R. Meizoso 🙂 .
The pilots come from an old Esci box 😉

I am a great fan of showing models in their natural habitat and with figures for scale comparison. So, that little vignette is just my cup of tea. 🙂 Well done.
